By accessing and using the GeneDance Portal ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

GeneDance Portal is a microbiome analysis platform that provides sample registration, FASTQ processing, taxonomic analysis, and scientific report generation services.

3. User Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Each user must have their own account.

4. Subscription Plans

The Service offers various subscription plans with different features, sample limits, and pricing. Plan details are available on the Pricing page. Subscriptions are governed by the plan terms at the time of purchase.

5. Data Ownership

You retain ownership of all data you upload to the Service, including sample data, FASTQ files, and experimental data. GeneDance does not claim ownership of your research data.

6. Data Retention

Data retention periods vary by plan. Upon expiration, data enters a pending deletion state requiring admin approval. You may export your data at any time before deletion.

7. Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy for information about how we collect, use, and protect your data.

8. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. GeneDance shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the Service.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
